So I got a laser engraver over the holidays as a gift! Which is awesome because I've had a few projects on my mind that would have very difficult and time consuming without it. I've made previous attempts with hand routers. and it just wasn't plausible.

 

It's been fun trying out something new! The best part is that I can hit start and come back an hour later to a finished project. so much easier than using carving tools on a similar project for 8 hours non stop.
